Give a KnoxBox as a Closing Gift
One of the things I regularly do is to go to as many real estate related events as I can. No matter what the subject matter is, I always come away with at least one gem of information to add to my arsenal.
This month, I attended our regular monthly Association breakfast where one of the presenters was our local Big Bear Lake Fire Department. The topic: KnoxBox. Until this meeting, I had no idea as to what a KnoxBox was.
 
So, what is a Knox Box?
 
Typically found on higher end homes, it is a key safe which contains keys to the property in the event of a fire, medical, or lock down emergency. 
 
The KnoxBox can only be accessed by your local fire department,  24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This eliminates them from having to break down gates or doors in order to gain access into the property. They will use force as a very last resort. Seconds and minutes are critical in emergencies and you can be the one who makes that huge difference in someone's life.
