Wildlife and Forests in Chippewa County Wisconsin
  Chippewa County is the home of our first office at Woodland Management Service just north of Cadott.
This office was opened in 1988 and is now run by our Wildlife Specialist Jesse Kulesa and one of our lead Foresters Nick Crane.
  Our clients at Woodland Management Service own a lot of forest land in this county and they are quite happy with the bountiful wildlife here.
 Chippewa County is home to more than 275 thousand acres of forest land, most of which is private land with the remaining 42 thousand acres being primarily on the County Forest and two small state parks.
  Most of this forest land is High quality Red Oak with over 100 thousand acres of Oak.  Aspen and Northern hardwoods come in second with around 45 thousand acres of each of these forest types.
These forests are not only good for producing income for our clients but also great habitat for high quality Deer, Grouse, Turkeys, Bears, and more.
