This week’s report on home values for San Clemente and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a San Clemente Realtor Michael Albrecht. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 2.9 percent, for new homes up 21.9 percent and for resale condos up 5.9 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 46.8 percent and up 48.7 percent on condos and up 18.4 percent for new homes.  
 
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 7.9 percent and the sales volume is up 25.5 percent.
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 1.9 percent and the sales volume is up 31.0 percent.
•Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 19.9 and the sales volume is down 4.0 percent.
•Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 3.3 percent and the sales volume is up 32.3 percent.
•Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are up 13.2 percent and the sales volume down 23.3 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 22.2 percent and the sales volume is up 42.1 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 15.9 percent and the sales volume is down 19.4 percent.
 
Wow what a difference a week makes.  Up across the board for the whole of the county.  All this during a very hot spell weather wise.  I would not have predicted the upward change.
