DMCA Safe Harbor Deadline 12.31.17
If you own and operate a website, be aware that DMCA Safe Harbor laws have changed, and you must now DIGITALLY register a copyright agent with the copyright office prior December 31,2017 and add a few things to your website(s) to receive the benefit of protection. This process requires renewal every 3 years. The video linked here and inline below will explain details in full. 
 What's this about? Why does it matter to individual licensees and their websites? Real estate websites and IDX displays are common components of our online marketing strategy in real estate. IDX feeds and other syndicated (or framed) content (third parties) may include photographs or other materials that infringe on someone else's copyright. To protect yourself from unwitting copyright infringement, the DMCA offers to shield us from liability from these situations, providing we proactively comply with the DMCA's requirements.  There are a few steps to achieve compliance: Register a Copyright Agent (it can be anyone you wish, even yourself) for your domain name(s) and any business use or trade names at https://dmca.copyright.gov/osp/login.html -- There is a small cost (I paid $6) for each registered "Service Provider".
