A total eclipse of the heart...
Today, for a least a few minutes, all over the country... eyes turned upward toward the sky.
The smart ones used glasses like those shown to the left. And the others ... well... you know how that worked out.
There was a last-minute rush to find those glasses.  People all over Facebook, and other digital sites, offering ridiculous money for those protective lenses.  I seriously considered selling mine, as I could have financed a run for president... but decided against it.
Many in our office shared this moment in time, scanning  the sky.  It took some of us a few minutes to locate the eclipse hiding behind the cloud cover.
When the eclipse finally peeked out of the clouds, it was small and hard to see, but we did manage to get a few peeks, and somehow I was able to get a couple of decent iphone photos.  They came out surprisingly well. 
The image is slightly out of focus, but I want you to consider that the subject was hundreds of miles away... hold on... [what?  I'm in the middle of a 'thing' here... more than hundreds, you say?  Are you sure... I don't think I can see more than a couple of hundred miles... ... more
