Staying in touch and maintaining a relationship requires more thoughtfulness, less happenstance with buyers and sellers you value. Avoid becoming lax with staying top of mind, otherwise someone else will gladly take your place.
 
Make those ever important calls to past clients asking how they are and if there is anything you can do for them. 
Email helpful homeowner hints, start a social media campaign from a professional page on Facebook directed their way.  
Send out quarterly mailings offering something of value like a Comparable Market Analysis. 
There is much to gain when you already have an established connection. I am so very thankful to past clients who remain loyal, especially when there are 1,000 other local agents in the area vying for business.
