Parkas and Flops - Love It
Living in Colorado is always interesting.  Weather forecasts?  Don't believe them.  They are usually just someone's best guess.
 
Last Monday we had snow and freezing temperatures.  
 
I decided that it was probably time to toss out my old Flip Flops because I didn't think I would need any until Spring.  But then I got to thinking...
 
We always have a warm spell - even in the winter months.
 
Sure enough, we are expected to reach 77 degrees by Tuesday.
 
Luckily, I am not easily fooled.
 
One of my favorite places to shop is Eddie Bauer - either at the store or online.  They just have no muss - no fuss kind of clothing.
 
Since they had a 60% off Columbus Day sale, I ordered a new pair of flops for those sunny days ahead.
 
When I opened the package, I was a little taken aback with myself.
 
I had ordered a parka for myself that I am told will keep me toasty with temps below ZERO!  I took both items out of the shipping bag and just laughed.  Only I would order a parka and a pair of flip flops at the same time.
I wonder if anyone will point and laugh if I wear both at the same time?
