When it comes to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) there's no shortage of opinions on the internet.  In fact, the entire landscape of digital marketing or internet lead generation is so competitive that it makes it hard to learn.  Even with all that noise there's still some fundamentals that you should know before digging into SEO.   I covered this in 2 part series on my digital marketing podcast but here it is for you ify you don't have time (want) to listen.  So here's your Quick Guide To The 9 Fundamentals To SEO Success.
Before I begin, let's start with "why." Why are you doing this? What's the purpose of this content? Once you know that, then my other suggestion is to "niche it down." Don't just target "homes for sale in city" look for a niche. Go for a neighborhood or a specific type of buyer.
9. URL STRUCTUREDon’t overthink this.
Use a keyword topic, shorter the better. Ideally, it has your topic in it. One thing not mentioned in the podcast is that the closer you can make your url to what is actually in the page, the better. It will help with your click-through-rate.
For example: domain.com/p1244 is less likely to be clicked than domain.com/keyword
