How I show my clients I am thankful
I like to show that I am thankful for my clients by giving them the best service possible, delivering the desired results, and keeping them fully informed at all times.  After all, that is really why they hire us, isn't it? More than the housewarming gift or the dinner or the bottle of wine, they want us to deliver on service and results.   Is the house warming party more important than getting the house at a price they can afford? I think not.  Is the Cutco knife more meaningful than getting their home sold at a price  that enables them to move up to their dream home? Probably not! 
I believe that what clients want are results (accomplishing their goal) and communication so that they always know where they are in the transaction.  Anticipating their questions and concerns makes the transaction considerably more stress free for them. 
This is not to say that I don't give gifts at closing.  I enjoy giving gifts.  It is fun to pick out something nice and then to produce it at the closing table - a pretty bag with fluffy paper peeking out over the top or a beautifully wrapped box with a big bow hiding a ... more
