Preventing Identity Theft ~ Scam Alert!
This was in my email today, and I thought it was important enough to post in order to prevent identity theft from occuring to even one person and keeping them from falling into this identity theft trap and disclosing any personal information about themselves.
I know most of us are too smart for this, but it pays to see warnings about any scams that are occurring to keep us on our toes and possibly keep it from happening to you or anyone you know. 
This particular scam has been going on since 2005 and maybe YOU have NOT heard about this. (I know I had NOT). 
Please don't be fooled if someone calls you and tells you they are a jury coordinator and they are issuing a warrant for your arrest because you failed to show up for jury duty as directed. 
If you tell them they are inncorrect and that you did not ever receive a summons for jury duty, they will try to get you to give them your ss#  and/or date of birth or some other piece of information so that they can cancel the arrest warrant. 
Giving this information to them is a gateway to your identity being stolen.  It happens to the best of us.  Just beware of this scam and ... more
