Can I Decorate My Home for Christmas When It's for Sale?
Believe it or, we show a LOT of homes in Door County during the holiday season (especially the week between Christmas and New Years), and this is an often-asked question: Do we decorate an on-market home for our holidays, and how much decorating can we do? Just this morning, I politely nixed my husband on putting out one of those garage door spotlight displays (that kind of display doesn't really match the feel of our neighborhood and I don't particularly care for them--but our home is not for sale). Sometimes less is more. I always think that decorating with discernment during the holidays (regardless of the holiday) if your home is on market is the answer, and it's also a nice solution. However, there are things to consider, and that is why I am re-posting a great blog on the universal question: "Can I decorate my (Door County, Atlanta, Florida, Arizona, Connecticut) home for Christmas when it's for Sale"?
