Living in New York City has it's own set of challenges unique to different neighborhoods and boroughs.  Yes, sometimes it is irritating to live in the city, some say it is too loud, or not enough action.  Some say living close to where you work is the best gift you give yourself, while others say having some space is better for the soul, otherwise you are always at your office if it is too easy to get there.  If you love the Opera, Broadway, and the myriad of entertainment options then living within walking distance of these venues is the ticket for some, while again, others claim that is not worth the extra rent you pay each month for a smaller sized unit.  To each his or her own as far as where to live in New York.  We all tend to gravitate to own best Neighborhood after putting in some serious New York living time.  Case in  point.... when we first moved to New York it was for my spouse's work.  He felt that that he needed to be close to his office because of his early hours.  So we began our adventure in Astoria, close to ... more
