Showing homes over the Christmas weekend?
Have you tried to set up viewings over the Christmas weekend for clients who insist on seeing them?
"The traffic is so bad, I can't meet you there on Friday at 5:30 pm," listing agent says. "You need to come by and pick up the key at the office yourself."
That's not a problem for me as long as I have all afternoon to pick the key up and the whole weekend to get it back to them. Doesn't sound like anyone else is out looking. Everyone is focused on Christmas.
Luckily the tenant has moved out and the condo is empty--which I just found out.
Oh, wait, no tenant? Why does it say to give 48 hour notice still on the MLS?
Must be that Christmas functions have gotten in the way of updating the MLS. No wonder this condo is still on the market after 58 days where others seem to fly off the shelf. A "little" thing like a tenant and wanting that kind of notice can stop many a buyer from looking at it.
So keep your fingers crossed, maybe my buyer will like this condo.
