We believe in spirited discourse, but personal attacks or predatory behavior will not be tolerated I'm closing in on my 10th anniversary in the rain.  And I have to say that it's one of the best behaved bunch of folks I've ever been involved as a group. Even when people are passionate about their opinions and disagree it is typically done with class and tact.
Of course there is always an exception or two. Every once in a while someone shows up who just can't get along.  I have seen them be here for years while staff pleaded with them to behave and I've seen them be so ugly so fast their time here was like a nano second. But in the end this community can generally spot a fake or meanie and we can self police and they will just quietly vanish into the night. 
There are things that you should and should not do when you find someone like that... first don't fight back.  If someone is harassing and name calling DO NOT engage and or solicit your friends for a pile one.  ... more
