Even though, the Active Rain Worldview is shared by many in this community, over the years I have placed more emphasis on some, than on others. My beliefs, my values, as well as my behavior stem directly from my background as well as my life experiences i.e.: my “Worldview”.
My Weltanschauung has been affected by many factors, some of it is, because I lived in Europe during the first 13+ years of my life and ten of it happened to be in Communist Hungary. Followed by the next three years in a Neutral Country. Hence, due to my life situation, I have placed more focus on what is important, what is good and what is sacred in life and what is real to me, compared to others who have taken many of these factors for granted in the US.
 I have been on this platform for a long time and I learned to appreciate the intent of the Founding Fathers’ of Active Rain. I have been saddened over the years of their as well as some other members departures. Let’s not forget, I was equally saddened ... more
