Speechless Sunday: Winter Finally Arrives in Santa Fe NM in 2018
 
News flash...it is snowing in Santa Fe! You may wonder why this is news. Here is why. Santa Fe has been my home for over 25 years and this winter began without snow and even cold temperatures. The deer in my northside foothill neighborhood never left for the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. My lilacs began to sprout new growth. Robins appeared two weeks ago and other birds began building spring nests in my portal. All this happened in Santa Fe in the months of December 2017 and January 2018. And every day I wondered when Jim Rohn's line "winter follows fall" would finally be a reality!
Today snowflakes arrived unexpectedly. Whether it will be a weather shift or not depends on what happens next. Now it is time clear a path for another day in Santa Fe...the city different! Thank you for reading. No longer snowless in Santa Fe!
