Ask An Ambassador: Is ActiveRain A Waste Of Time Or Is It GIGO?
 The ActiveRain watercooler/Q&A section recently had a question about the many missing Rainers that have passed the 500,000 point milestone.  Where did they go and why?
The answers are varied.  Agents come and go.  Business reasons.  Personal reasons.  Out of the business reasons.  Life happens.
Some people find value in the community, some don't. 
The sharing of knowledge is topnotch and there's no shortage of people that can point to this community and state "ActiveRain is WHY I'm still a real estate agent today.  Without it I would have failed years ago!".
I've gained expertise here on niche marketing, SEO, escalation clauses, setting up and maintaining a Wordpress site, and plenty more.  I have more tools than I ever had before that help me help my clients.
Now what ActiveRain is to me today is different than it was 8 years ago.  I put a lot less "social" into this social media platform now then I did when I started.  I blog daily, I may or may not leave a handful of comments.  I no longer get the shakes if I don't get a full quota of points for maxing out my daily comments.
