Looking for Baby Dinosaurs in Phoenix!
Another Activerainer blogger, Sonja Patterson wrote a post today about a dinosaur event in her area - and that brought up a recent encounter I had regarding dinosaurs. Naturally I had to share it with all of you as it's such a cute story!
 
Most of you know I'm a avid hiker in the mountains behind our home. I also volunteer at the visitor center so I'm often helping folks navigate the trails and what to look for on their hike. And I also help many hikers with that 'confused look' on their face when I'm out hiking. I show them the way and reassure them if they get lost, somebody else will come along.
 
The other day I ran into a Grandma with 3 grand-kids from Canada. She had that 'confused look' so I showed her the way - and let her know I would see them on the other side as I was headed out the back trail and we'd meet again.
 
 
Sure enough we did meet ( which means she took the right trail) and the little girl didn't look happy one tiny bit!! I thought she was tired so I asked her. The Grandma says no she's not tired she's very afraid of snakes.  ... more
