Trollinger Park is located just East of the Downtown area on Main Street. 
The park has a quite setting with a water fountain that gives the perfect setting for photos of all kinds.
There are many days you will find families gathered around  making memories to last a lifetime. 
Trollinger Park has two memorials in the sitting area. 
One you will find is in Memory of Charlie Baum, thank you for your service Sir. 
A resident of Whitesboro Texas he was one of thousands of Military men who walked the long 90 Miles in the Bataan Death March. Charlie Baum survived, despite no rest, food or water for  6 days. Japanese Prisoner of War he survived it all. 
Stop by Trollinger Park here in Whitesboro and see the Memorial Bench to give Honor to Charlie Baum. 
Dempsey Sims is a long time resident of Whitesboro as well, you will find that he was a large part of the community. There is a park bench dedicated to his memory located at the South end of the Stone Path.
