Keeping up with prospective clients in a personal way.
A really nice phone call came in yesterday, it was call from a client I've tried to help over the last three years to find them a vacation home. You see, even if my clients haven't found YET what they are looking for, I never give up on them.
Contrary to what seems to be the industry standard which is to put these clients on listing "drip emails" where similar properties to those they have been looking for are automatically emailed to them, I like to add another angle.
PERIODIC MARKET STUDIES OF PARTICULAR PROPERTIES THEY ARE INTERESTED IN.
So yesterday, I did some research on a couple of condominiums my clients have been especially interested in. It's been about 3 months since I have been in touch with them personally.
AND SAW A TREND IN THAT MARKET STUDY.
And that was that prices were inching down where the overall market in the area was inching up. So I sent some information to these clients about my findings.
Not necessarily expecting a response, I was pleased to get a phone call telling me that this was, indeed, of interest to them and to look into the reasons.
