Happening In Ballantyne: Ballantyne Breakfast Club Meeting: April 14th
The topic for the April 2018 Ballantyne Breakfast Club meeting is "Community Engagement in Charlotte's Growth." Headlining this Saturday morning's meeting will be Charlotte Planning Director, Taiwo Jaiyeoba, who will provide an update on area development and zoning, as well as the North Carolina Department of Transportation's Turnpike Authority Executive Director, Beau Memory, who will provide an update on the I-485 Express Lane. As always, a question and answer period will follow the presentations.
All Ballantyne Breakfast Club meetings are open to the public at no cost. Founded in 2001 as a communication forum, The Ballantyne Breakfast Club is now in it's 17th successful year of providing opportunities for Ballantyne and South Charlotte residents to meet and to learn about community events and priorities relating to local development, rezoning, education, transportation, safety and city/county government. Ballantyne Breakfast Club's slogan that "an informed community is a better community," is spot on.
Whether you've lived in Ballantyne/South Charlotte for many years or are a newcomer, the Ballantyne Breakfast Club meetings are a "must go" to stay on top of neighborhood developments. But keep in mind, you don't need to live in Ballantyne to be welcomed at Ballantyne Breakfast Club meetings.
