Daily Safety Tips Keeping You and Your Clients Safe - Tip #1, Keep it Light
Our profession is safety challenging and puts us into some precarious situations.  PLEASE take the time to read these daily safety tips. They can save you time, money and potentially your life!

The goal is simple but not to be understated:  Always keep YOUR SAFETY and YOUR CLIENTS
(Sellers and Buyers) SAFETY "top of mind".

Safety Tip #1 - Keep It Light:

Show properties before dark. If you are going to be working after hours, advise at least two people (I suggest a work member and non-work member.  Say your Broker, Office Manager or significant other, best friend) of your schedule and locations. If you must show a property after dark, turn on all lights (interior, exterior, garage, basement, etc.) and ensure ALL shades/curtains/blinds are in the open position.  This will make for a safer entry for your Buyers and will allow for passerby to see in the house.

When you are finished with your showing, leave exterior lights on for your own safety when exiting and getting to your vehicle.  Don't forget to have the basic's with you: Charged cell phone, flashlight with good batteries, pepper spray, etc.
