Wenatchee Wild Hockey Team: 2018 BCHL Champions

Last night the Wenatchee Wild hockey team won the BCHL Championship, known as the Fred Page Cup. Wenatchee is the only team in the league in the states.  As you may know, hockey is like a national religion in Canada.  This is the first time since 1979 that a team in the U.S. has won the Fred Page Cup.  Our franchise is celebrating their 10th year in the league.
Up next is the regional Doyle Cup.  The Wild's opponent in the next round of the playoffs has not yet been determined.  It will either be the Spruce Grove Saints (Edmonton, Alberta area) or Okotoks Oilers (Calgary, Alberta area).
