99th Washington State Apple Blossom Festival
"You can count the seeds in an apple but you can't count the apples in a seed."
The last week has been filled with lots of activities for the 99th Washington State Apple Blossom Festival.  Having lived in Wenatchee for 47 years, I don't attend too many of the events unless I have out of town company to go with.  Call me an old fogie but the older I get the less I enjoy the crowds... and it does get crowded.
Wenatchee has long been known as the Apple Capital of the World and we know how to celebrate the anticipation of a bountiful fresh crop. This time of year is gorgeous in the Wenatchee Valley with all the flowers, flowering trees and fruit blossoms.  

Friday evening, my step-son (Max Jr.) and his wife (Janice) came up for a quick overnight visit to go to the Classy Chassis car Parade last night and the main Parade today.  Max Jr. is a car guy. He got the car restoration bug from his Dad and just loves old cars.  He is currently working on an old Chevelle and a pick-up truck.
