Montgomery IL - 13.2% Increase in SF Home Sales in April, 2018
The Village of Montgomery posted strong single family home sales in April, 2018 compared to 2017's April sales.  They had 43 closed sales compared to 2017's 38.  Days on Market also decreased from 36 to April, 2018's 31!  Price appreciation for April, 2018 was up 6.4% from 2017's to $234,000 from $220,000 in 2017.
Currently there are only 63* active listings - with 15 of them brand new listings!  Only two reactivated listings and only 8 price drops!  There are 82 homes under contract - more than currently available!  Expect multiple offers for the best priced listings in the top locations.
 
With only a couple of weeks left in May there are only 9 listings in the pending status.  Hopefully more homes will complete their contingency status and close at the end of May.
 
Year to Date there have been 118 sold homes compared to 2017's 110 - strong numbers as we go into May, 2018!
