Why Don’t You Charge Less To Stage My Smaller Property?

Recently a seller called to discuss staging their vacant home. They had recently moved everything out of it and moved into their new home. They had heard that inventory was slim and felt that their now vacant property would sell quickly.

However, it had now been on the market for several weeks and there had been no offers and very few showings.

We discussed what vacant staging would entail and the costs involved.  
While they needed to move forward the seller asked if we would charge less for his property which was smaller.

Staging a smaller property can cost a little less because we might use fewer pieces and the scale of the pieces may not have to be as large as when you are staging a home with higher ceilings and larger floor plans.
 
However, there are certain expenses involved with every vacant staging. They vary from stager to stager and region to region.
 
1.The cost of renting the furniture and accessories. (can run anywhere from $700 to 1200+ a month depending upon size, amount, and quality)
