Should You Update Your Home Before You Sell?
UPDATING YOUR HOME BEFORE YOU SELL – A REFRESH IS ALWAYS FUN!
Whether you are thinking of selling soon or in a few years, if you haven’t made any changes since you’ve moved in – IT’S TIME!
Start small – like maybe the Powder Room on the main floor – look out for sales and purchase the items you will need and then hire a reputable contractor to do the work for you.  Plumbing is a serious business do it right. New light fixture, a new mirror, vanity, new paint, flooring and even think about doing something unique with the ceiling.
If that works out for you then maybe think about redoing the main bathroom and then move on to the master bathroom.  Remember keep things neutral but don’t be afraid to add a bit of punch with unique ideas for the flooring, ceiling and maybe a vanity with colour.
The next room that you should consider is your kitchen and there are many ways to update without spending thousands of $$$$$.  Reface the cabinet doors, add a backsplash, change the laminate counters to something current and, of course, the final touch is the paint.
