This weeks report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 4.9 percent, new homes are up 15.8 percent and resale condos are up 3.3 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 12.8 percent, down 8.4 percent on condos and down 1.0 percent for new homes.
 
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 9.1 percent and the sales volume is down 22.1 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 21.1  percent and the sales volume is down 14.3 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 6.5 and the sales volume is down 38.3  percent.
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices are down 5.0 percent and the sales volume is down 26.6 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 7.9 percent and the sales volume down 22.1 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 4.6 percent and the sales volume is down 9.3 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 12.9 percent and the sales volume is up 24.5 percent.
 
 We are seeing the slown down in the South Orange County market.  We need to watch and see how this shakes out.  Over the next few weeks we should know what it will shape up to be for the rest of the year.
