Summer Solstice - June 21

Officially it begins at 6:07 a.m. And so the earth tilts on its axis about 23.5 degrees. How will you celebrate? As for me, I'll be celebrating with Hot on Homes later today and taking a class right afterwards.

Throughout the world people will be celebrating the solstice with ceremonial dances and other rituals. In Texas, the sun will rise at 6:19 a.m. and set at 8:38 pm. In Dallas, people can exercise their body, mind, and spirits with Yoga, offered FREE at JCC of Dallas, 7900 Northhaven Road, Dallas, TX 785230 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Yoga lovers celebrate Interational Yoga Day & Summer Solstice - be sure to follow the link for additional ... more
