Wenatchee, WA: Iconic Saddlerock

"Geologists are scientists with an unnatural obsession with rocks;  Often too intelligent to do monotonous sciences like biology, chemistry, and physics." 
The rock formation Saddlerock is an iconic landmark in the Wenatchee area.  It is a popular day hike for locals and visitors alike. 
There are many amazing photos of this landmark on the internet, but I've been meaning to get one of my own for quite a while so I don't have to worry about copyright infringement for posting.  I had a spot picked out but just hadn't stopped.  Yesterday, I was on my way home from the golf course when I saw the United States flag waving at my favorite spot. I knew this was my chance.  It isn't the best picture, but it makes my point.
It is obvious from the picture above how Saddlerock got its name.  It does look like a saddle, doesn't it? 
Here is what the Washington Trails Association says about Saddlerock on their website:
"Saddle Rock is the ideal overlook trail for Wenatchee. Winding up to a summit dotted with craggy, pointed rocks, the trail follows an old road most of the way to the top.
