I Don't Care What The Mortgage Rates Are or What the Temperature is
It is so interesting the emails I get each week from loan officers telling me what the mortgage rates are.
They should know, a Realtor who is proactive, confident, committed, determined and experienced, could care less about interest rates.
My first 28 years, we averaged selling 25 homes a month, with no team, no outside help, and no knowledge of what the interest rates were.
That is why we were about to helping buyers whether it was 9% or 18%. We paid no attention to the interest rate.
You don’t want to buy, or you don’t like the rate? Thank you, I will go talk with someone who, really wants to OWN.
A loan officer would cause me to be more appreciative of them, if they would pick up that little CELL and CALL and say have a great weekend, Mr. McGinnis.
Because I know they are sending the same information via email to 8,472 of my competitors.
It is like the weather forecast, I do not care what the temperature is or will be. I am not going to stay home, and not help people buy and sell homes, because it is too hot.
