I've a unique spot for you to dine this week-end if you're in the mood for Mexican. Pulling up to this restaurant, you'll think you've been transported to the streets of Mexico and you never left East Austin! Have fun and enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of truly wonderful food and authentic ambiance.

The front door of this East Austin restaurant on E. 6th St. designed by local artist Aaron Michalovic will immediately catch your eye.  It features kind of a burst design with fanned layers of a dusty agave green, bubblegum pink and beautiful sky blue, the colors of Oaxaca Mexico's famous center. There is a window near the door with the words "No guns, be cool. Have fun" written on it. The interior is decked out with a light colored wood and hand-woven pale pink and grey textiles from a street artist owner Sam Hellman-Mass met in Oaxaca. There are wicker light fixtures, fresh flowers everywhere and mezcal jugs stand in the corner. There's a long bar with very heavy wooden & steel stools, and an assortment of tools & knick-knacks sitting on shelves.
