A very heavy heart
Tomorrow I'll attend the services for a friend from high school, taken too soon.  I'm a person of faith and when I've lost friends I've usually been at peace because of my faith.  This time I'm not at all feeling peace, I'm angry. My dear friend was murdered. It's been a long time since a murder touched my life this personally. I just feel beyond sad and at the same time furious.  
I am hoping that saying good-bye will give me some closure and let me start to heal. But at the same time I know that I will follow the case and if there is a trial follow the trial. So in reality I'm not sure when the healing process will occur.  But rest in peace Greg.  You will be missed my friend.  I'll see you again someday... and I'll miss you until then.
