Beware agents!
How fraudsters are trying to get your log in information may make you slip up if you are not paying attention and are alert all the time. We all know about those different scams and such that are trying to take money out of our pockets. And many of us are becoming more aware of the fraud element invading transactions as clients are contacted with different wire details than those from the settlement company.
Last week I got an email from Docusign, with all the Docusign logos telling me I had a document to sign. Not being aware of any upcoming advertising contracts, or transactions of mine that required my signature I was alert to the email possibly being false.
I rarely click through from an email, if ever to a website, preferring to go to the site direct be it my bank, credit card or as in this case Docusign and then looking for the document or the message on the site.
In fact I recently had an issue with one of my credit cards because they kept sending emails that you had to click to view their secure messages. When you went to the site it was not visible under ... more
