A Summer Night of Classic Cars and Live Music in Encinitas 2018
 
It’s hard to believe we are getting close to the end of summer, and reminders of the holidays ahead are popping up.
 
Another reminder of summer ending is Thursday, September 20th, will be the last of the Classic Car Nights in Encinitas. This annual series runs from June through September on the 3rd Thursday, and your final chance in 2018 is next week (not this week). And remember, Fall begins on Saturday the 23rd!
 
 
You can’t help but be impressed by dozens of classic and vintage cars, Hot Rods, and Woodies, whether you are a collector or just a gawker! And exploring the downtown area of this classic beach town on a summer evening is lots of fun.
 
The Classic Car Nights are sponsored by the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA), on the S. Coast Highway/Historic Route 101, between D and K Streets. The event runs from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, with an awards ceremony at 7:15.
 
Beautiful cars, people watching, live rock and roll and classic beach music in several locations, and lots of places to eat, drink and shop make for a fun evening. You should plan to arrive on the ... more
