Remembering 9/11 - The Fallen, The Hero's & Those Left Behind
There will never be words to express the anger, the hurt, the terror and the rage that 9/11 brought and the emotions that still linger today. When I think about the men, women and children that went to bed on 9/10 like any normal night, not knowing what was waiting for them the next morning, sends chills down my spine. Innocent lives lost. Children who never had the chance to truly live, lost. Hero's who took over planes and ran into burning and falling buildings, lost. Too many lost, too many left to grieve, too many left with residual health affects, still battling the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual battle that was left behind, now, known as their life. 
I know where I was on 9/11, most of us do. We know to the minute and the second where we were, what we were doing. To this day, for some of us, it still seems like yesterday, yet it has been 17 years. A brutal and senseless terrorist attack that killed 2,977 people ( I subtracted the 19 Islamic terrorist from the original 2,996 people because they do not belong in the same number of those innocent lives ).
