Ahwatukee Arizona Homes, Properties and Values
Ahwatukee Arizona is really the southern most part of Phoenix proper.  It is made up of three zip codes, they are 85044,85045, and 85048,  If you are looking to buy............it really is a great place to consider.
 
Ahwatukee extends from the I-10 interstate on the East, to the Indian Reservation on the West and South, while the North border is the South Mountain preserve.  Ahwatukee offers a lot of great outdoor activities ranging from mountain biking, all the way to outdoor sports.  Actually, with the south mountain preserve there are MILES of trails, mountain biking, hiking and more to enjoy.  There are also several area parks, such as PECOS which one can find team sports, swiming, basketball and more.
 
I would highly recommend giving it some consideration.  It is quite a nice community, with a lot to offer.
