I'm Grateful for Volunteers
Raising awareness for all things about sustainability requires many man hours.  Man hours being a liberal term of course.  Volunteers who put sustainability efforts above their own schedules and promote sustainabilty are priceless in their efforts, but also in their results. 
 
Volunteering at booths, in classrooms, and at public events requires a break away from their own business to help others understand the need to reduce their carbon footprint is very impactful work! 
 
The people that volunteer in sustainability can be described as self-less, caring, warm- hearted folks who are generous with their time.  We're pretty much like family and when someone leaves the group, warm memories surface.
 
The photo above is of one of the many times we set up "the beast" of a booth for the US Green Building Council.  The two folks on the left have since retired from construction and real estate.  Ali Al Asady can still be located on the West side of town working his real estate and we'll see him from time to time.
