Thankful For My Peeps (Day #4)

"Best friends are the people you can do anything or nothing with and still have a great time."
After my husband died, I was pretty much a lost soul for quite a while.  Over the last 7 1/2 years I have managed to reinvent myself and am surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends. Some of these people have been with me for years, through thick and thin, and some I've met since.  These are my "peeps".
We all have people in our lives that offer up some special challenges but we also get to choose who we want as our "peeps". The peeps are the ones you can call on a moments notice and say, "Let's do something" or "I need to talk"... and they are there for you. 
I am blessed to have many great peeps in my life. 
Gail, pictured above is my best golfing and traveling buddy. This picture was taken when we were in Sedona last year.  She lives in Spokane about 175 miles from Wenatchee.  We've played a lot of different golf courses together.  Mostly, we stay busy but sometimes we just sit on the patio and drink wine and talk for hours.
