Ask An Ambassador: You Better Duck!!!
I was tempted to come out swinging! 
The comments irritated me, and I don't generally irritate easily. 
To paraphrase:
We're better than YOU.  All you (fill in the blank) are bad for our profession.  There's no way YOU can be professional unless you fit OUR definitions.  It's impossible unless YOU DO BUSINESS JUST LIKE I DO!!!  (paraphrasing may or may not represent what they actually meant with the comments)
Now you can take your pick of any number of categories to fill in the blank above and you'll see similar dialogues and accusations: 
part-timers (whatever THAT term actually means) vs. full time agents "Discount" brokerages vs "full service" brokerages Pro-Z vs. Anti-Z Take your pick, any of those topics might as well be just another political discussion on the Internet, because you've got just about the same odds of changing someone's mind. 
You'll get the same arguments rolled out again and again (don't believe me, just go in the NAR FB group and type ANYTHING regarding Zillow in a post and watch the usual transpire from there...but be prepared to lose a day responding).
