Weather Proof exterior cabinetry
I enjoy the Journal of Light Construction.  There is a ton of ideas and knowledge there.  This reference to  Weatherproof Exterior Cabinetry was found as I was reading the article on the length of drain lines which led to reading more articles. 
The Journal of Light Construction website is mainly geared to the professionals but so much of it is good for consumer education.  It is a website that compiles all types of ideas in the construction industry.  Some are shown as tests and some are articles about products and some are the explanation of how to properly install by professionals. Their main page references the different areas of the home from the interior such as kitchen and baths to the exterior such as foundations and roofs to tools such as hand tools, power tools and air tools.  It has manufacturers links and forums.  It is a well rounded website. 
It is where I first saw the information about the house in Mexico Beach, FL which withstood Hurricane Harvey in this article:  House that stood against Hurricane Michael
So not only does it allow professionals a voice but anyone who does their own handyman work can use it as an excellent source of information.
