As agents focus more and more time on making social media connections, some have forgotten the important roll press releases play in marketing businesses. Don't miss out; press releases are amazing tools.
Are you planning a special charity event? Perhaps you are collecting cans for a food drive or working with a local charity. It's absolutely OK to let the press know about these events. The benefits to your company are a secondary perk, but getting press will help the event's productivity. Just because you want to do something nice for the community doesn't mean you shouldn't tell your local newspaper about it. There's no need for modesty when publicizing the event will only encourage more community members to participate. 
You can also write press releases for big company changes.
