I've been selling Door County properties for sale for approximately 1/3rd of my life, and when I meet a prospective purchaser that is looking for a Door County home, one of the very first things that I will ask is "Where do you like to be in Door County?" 
 
 
Door County's towns, villages and city all have unique and distinct personalities, like any other neighborhoods in the United States, and since we don't necessarily have actual neighborhoods (other than in the City of Sturgeon Bay), I like to lay out the different "flavors" of Door County for my customers and clients.  I try to help them learn what town or village will be the right fit for their lifestyle, learning where they want to work, live and play.
 
I'll start, as an example, with the range a Buyer will generally give me.  "We'd like to look at homes/condominiums/vacant land/businesses (take your pick) between Egg Harbor/Jacksonport to Ellison Bay".  Well, that's a broad range, and Ellison Bay can stretch into Northport, so we spend more time trying to define the perfect town or village that you'll choose to call your Door County home.
