Have you made any resolutions for your house!
This is a great post regarding your personal home. Every year, sit down and make a list of the improvements or updates that are needed for your home and start the budgeting plan. Creating a timeline and plan, you will be able to save and watch for sales on the needed items.  You would be surprised at what you can find at places like ReStore (Habitat for Humanity) or even on floor samples from stores like Lowe's and Home Depot.  Scratch and dent appliances or closeouts when the next models start arriving is also a great time to look at replacing your kitchen appliances or washer/dryer.
