The River Mile Open Forum in Denver
If you live in Denver, you have most likely visited the Platte River near Elitches.  If not, you know of how there is not a lot to do directly with the river.  Interaction with it is mostly just walking near it or getting in.  The Denver Architecture Foundation proposes that there should be a major overhaul to the existing area to allow for a new community and part of town to flourish.  This will be a multi-year project, and Elitches isn’t going anywhere for 2019.  But there are a continuing series of free lecture series around it, put on by the developers themselves to focus on the new community, called The River Mile.  Having lots of work for Denver property management in the surrounding area, we are always interested in new developments that will shape the city for years to come.  The program description is as follows.  The River Mile is the proposed redevelopment of Elitch Gardens and its surface parking lots in Downtown Denver’s Central Platte Valley.
