Stop the Car - It's time to Survive

Have you ever driven a car and something catches your eye that is so beautiful you just have to stop the car? That is exactly what happened to me this evening driving home from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. Some type of creative force was so powerful I had to pull a U-Turn to make sure I didn't miss it. I parked the car. As I crossed the street, the image that caught the corner of my eye seemed to disappear. I kept walking, hoping that what I saw was over the slight hill. I was right. There before my eyes was the most beautiful winter sighting I have seen in a long time.
 
 
I started driving early this morning to Denton to take care of business, and then to the University of Dallas, my alma mater where I graduated in December 2002 to meet with a Professor at the Business Office. It rained all day today. It didn't seem to bother the ducks at all nor was I inconvenienced. I let the rain fall over me. How do these creatures survive living in a pond?
