Your Neighbor has a "For Sale" Sign on the Lawn - What Should You Do?
It is fast approaching the time of year when folks thinking of selling, often put homes on the market. You look out your window and you find your neighbor has a newly installed “For Sale” sign on his lawn. Perhaps, you wonder who your new neighbors may be. Will they be good neighbors?
There can be some anxiety surrounding these questions. However, there are things you can do to improve your chances of getting a quality new neighbor. One who will help enhance your neighborhood. These things are likely similar to what the listing agent has told their seller in order to get the best offer for their home.
(1) Throw a little fertilizer on your lawn. Weed those flower beds and prune overgrown bushes. Plant a few seasonal flowers to provide curb appeal. Prospective home buyers strongly consider the neighborhood when viewing homes to buy. If a buyer doesn’t care how neighbors take care of their homes, then they aren’t likely to take care should they buy a home, and become your new neighbor.
