Donations for Homeless Vets in Waukesha County Please Help
   Following the very sage advice of fellow ActiveRain member,  Anita Clark we have become members of a local Community group and must say we are becoming more informed about local issues. (There is discussion of a school referendum) and more importantly about the needs of the community.
    The Residents of City of New Berlin adopted a charity and raised over $9,000 for a local Veteran's organization in a short amount of time. 
  When you are living a comfortable life...you don't think of homelessness in a community that you call home...and yet, there are many communities that have this issue, whether it is recognized or not.
  Tonight there was an appeal for items for Homeless Veterans in the area and as you will see, it is sooo easy to be helpful to someone who has helped you in immeasurable ways. Whether it is a trip to the dollar store for tolietries, coloring books and crayons or finding things in the closet that are "lightly used"...everyone can help.
    If this post gets one more donation...it will have served its purpose...here is the list:
