Our New Grand-Dog! Meet Boone.
We are excited to announce the newest edition to our family, Boone! He is a 2 months, 1 week old Golden Retriever-Border Collie mix. Kelsea, our daughter, adopted him on Saturday at a Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue event in Arvada, Colorado. Like all of their rescue pups, Boone has been neutered, is up-to-date on shots, and has been micro-chipped. 
 
We got to see him action over the weekend, thanks to FaceTime. And according to the latest reports, he is doing very well with both sleeping alone and house-training. The following photo is of the entire litter. Boone is either bachelor number 2, or bachelor number 3, starting from the right. Since Kelsea likes mellow dogs, her lovable guy was chosen for his friendly, but laid-back personality. I'm guessing he's likely the one looking quite relaxed and ready for a nap.
