A Strange Bird
I am a creature of habit. Saturdays I tend to visit a small shop that no longer operates but sells thing the family is looking to get rid of.. This past Saturday I saw a man in front of the place with what appeared to be a big bird in his hands. He disappeared but as I entered the shop, there he was with a huge dead owl in his hands......showing it around and having people touch it. I was appalled on so many levels. The bird from what I could see was in tact and for all I know may have even been sick but still alive. Birds carry diseases and here was this odd man proudly showing it off. I left pretty quickly and went home and took a shower and then wiped everything I had touched off with alcohol. What an odd bird, and not the owl.
